This is an exciting time to begin a teaching career in Arkansas as hundreds of potential teachers found out at the Arkansas Department of Education’s Pathways to Teaching. The annual event provides information on the many ways to become an Arkansas educator. High school students and grads, college students, and Career Changers found the path that is right for them.

- ADE Non-Traditional Licensure Program
- Financial Aid for teacher
Many of those attending will be licensed teachers by the 2008-2009 school year. Others are entering the teaching pipeline and will fill needed classroom positions within the next five years.
